I hope this finds you all in good health. Just a reminder that this month’s dinner meeting will be on May 9th, social at 6:00 PM dinner and meeting begin at 7:00 PM. This month’s dinner will be provided by Rhonda’s and will be roast pork, gravy, scalloped potatoes, peas and carrots, rolls and salad. As with everything the price for dinner from Rhonda’s has gone up and now costs us $10. We will not be passing this on to the membership so the price of dinner is still $10 but it is more important than ever to get an accurate count of who will be attending. Noble Gil will be calling this week to get a count. As always desserts are appreciated.
Bahia is selling Vidalia onions this year. 10 pounds for $10. I will have them available at the meeting. These onions were in the ground last week and come from a family owned farm owned by a Past Master and Shriner. Eighty percent of his crop are sold to Shrines, the other 20% go to lodges and churches. We will be selling these at the Volusia County Fairgrounds Wednesday and I welcome anyone that would like to help to please contact me at 407-963-2155. Be sure to bring your Fez! The plan going forward is to pre-sell these, this is primarily a kick-off event.
Don’t forget the Bahia Stated Meeting is this Thursday May 5th. Onions will also be available there.
